is technology making us idiot?

Technology has changed the world drastically over few decades. The impact of technology on us is increasing at the exponential rate. We are using the cool gadgets for our easy or hard day to day activities. But the question is are we becoming dependent on stuffs?

If we look at the mind blowing data of the past decades, it will blow our mind. Scientific data are showing that we are affecting our memory by relying heavily on the technology.

Let's discuss the shocking studies and their results

Over smartness

The technology has also increased the number of over smart people around the globe. As it is very easier for anyone to search for anything( thanx to the google), it creates a wrong mental picture in the mind of the people that they are knowing more than they actually know. It just takes a fraction of seconds to search for any stuff on internet which hence it makes us fool that we are knowing more than we actually know.

Drivers losted their ways

Yes the drivers used google map to travel towards their destination couldn't repeat the same travelling without the map. They became unsuccessful in reaching to the same point again without the google map. This ensures how much they are playing with their memory. Hence this satellite-navigation system has become a vital part of many of the cab drivers accross the globe without which they will find it difficult to travel to longer destinations.

Mis recognitions in the museums

The research on the artists and normal people who tend to go the museum at the regular interval found it harder to recognize the same thing which they clipped in their cameras. They found it difficult to describe the same thing which they shot in their digital cameras.

Hence these latest studies show that we are focussing more on the gadgets than our brain. Although there's no doubt that the technology is making our work easier and is helping us to do difficult tasks without awesome ease, even then we have to be alert on not losing our brain power.
